Harry Potter! - Ravenclaw

Who is a Harry Potter fan??
Are you as excited for the Deathly Hallows to come, out as I am?

I've got mixed feelings about it,...on the one hand I'm thrilled that the movie is coming out,  but on the other, I'm sad, because it really sucks that it is coming to an end :(

Anyways, I really cannot tell you how many requests for Harry Potter nails I've received over the past several months as the film has drawn closer.
And so now that it is here, I'll be doing inspired looks for each of the Hogwart houses.
First up is Ravenclaw

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I do hope that everyone had a fun and happily haunted Halloween!

This year was ALL about the Mario Brothers
I have no idea what's up with their military poses LOL,
but they made out like bandits! Enough candy to last a year!

It was very chilly and windy in our little water town, but it was still beautiful.

I snapped these pics as the kids were going from door to door.

And for me, right up until the very end, I couldn't decide what I wanted to do for when we went out...but in the end, I choose a skull/skeleton

So did anyone dress up this year for a party, or just for the hell of it?
What was your costume?

Candy Corn Bling

Another request and classic look is Candy Corns, but I wanted to change it up a bit rather than just paint candy on my nails.
so I came up with this super simple design,
but I love it, looks super sweet,
like my nails were just dipped in sugar!

Vampire

Another highly requested look was a vampire inspired look.
I'm obsessed with all things Vampire,
so this was an obvious design for me to do even without the requests.
The tough decision was choosing just one design.
I probably had about 10 ideas, but I narrowed it down to 3.

Everything inspired these looks from movies, to books, to photos...
this first one was heavily influenced by The Vampire Diaries

Gothic Vampiress, long, pointed Jet Black nails,
this is a real simple look, but very effective in full costume.

I'd have to say that True Blood inspired this look
Aptly named, FangBanger, fangs with dripping blood and two pierced nails with single drop beads to add to the effect, and of course nothing would be complete without the little advertisement of Bite Me to let all the blood suckers know you are ready for the taking.

I'll add the rest of my ideas in my playbook
and save em for next year ;) and in the meantime, if you'd like to see the full tutorial on how I achieved the first look, then please head yo my YouTube channel,

Jack & Friends

Probably the 2nd most requested look,
I would have done a design for Nightmare Before Christmas even if no one asked me.
Yes, I love it that much!
Tim Burton, Halloween, & Jack Skellington....what's not to love??

Anyways, here is today's look.

" IT "

With today's look,
I've come to the conclusion that I really do suck at painting tiny faces on nails.
LOL

Scary clown, and in particular,
Pennywise the Clown from Stephen King's IT
was requested alot and I really wanted to get it out there,
so I apologize for my mediocre portrait skills
But hey, at least you can tell what and you who is,
so it aint all that bad LOL

Witches Brew

Today's look was another highly requested look.
Water marbling.
But I didn't want to do the standard Orange & Black,
so I came up with this look.
The colors represent the Witches Brew, with the witch on her little broom, and the Black rhinestones, her crazy flying path.
