I'm in this month's issue of GO Style Magazine!

GO Style, a popular Israeli fashion magazine has featured me in June issue!
Many thanks to Yifat,
a Facebook follower for not only mailing me the magazine,
but also roughly translating it for me as well.

Here is the rough translation:

 - After surfing in nails blogs they arrived to Dollish Polish
and the owner is Dolly (no one know her real identity).
Dolly creates at her online shop, custom nail polishes and they're MUST in every one that love nails.
Dolly creates polishes in colors and texture that you will never find anywhere else or with any famous brands and she give strange names to each of them that symbolize the inspiration of them like "Spank You Very Much" and "Fat Guy In A Little Coat" and a famous one "Zombie Flesh" that created by her love to horror.
Dolly talks to her fans everyday in her Facebook page and update with new colors, inspirations etc.
Her fans take pictures of them with her designs, share tips,
and enjoy talking with her on anything that relate to nails.
We don't know until when she will stay anonymous or when she will be mega brand but when it will happen you should know her!

I handed the magazine to my mother without saying for what or why,
she thumbed through it till she got to the article and just stared in silence for a long moment, finally looking up at me all glassy-eyed, and said
" OMG, that is your hand in a fashion magazine from halfway across the world!"

Yep, pretty surreal, and very exciting!

Spring Green Gradient

There is something so refreshing about Green nail polish,
I don't know what it is, but I've got more Greens
in my collection than any other shade.

He is a super Springy Green gradient that
I'm currently wearing & absolutely loving.

I used 3 different shades:

Sinful Colors in Innocent as the base
Then used a combo of
Maybelline Express Finish in Go-Getter Green
and
ORLY in Fresh
to create the gradient

Candy Splatter

Rather than narrow down a single shade for my mani's,
lately I've been having lots of fun using multiple colors
for sponging, gradients, and marbling and
I've been having a blast!
Here is my most recent look,
using some candy inspired shades topped with black and white splatter.

PRODUCTS USED:

Wet n Wild - Wild Shine in French White Creme
Orly in Lemon
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Bubblegum Pink
Ruby Kisses in Teal Envy
Color Club in Pucci-licious
Wet n Wild - Black Creme

Full tutorial on this look has been posted on
YouTube today!

HAUL!!

YAY!
I finally had a bit of free time to scrounge my local Rite Aids
for some polishes that I've been lemming for.

Stay Outta My Bismuth
I Got A New Com-Pewter
Precious Petals

I picked up 3 shades from the new Wet n Wild Chrome collection

Aside from the disappointing fact that these bottles are only
.29 oz., the shades are beautiful.
They applied very nicely, and in 2 coats, they were perfect.
These are interesting, having a metallic finish, but upon
closer inspection, they actually have tiny micro glitters.
I definitely need to pick up the rest of these!
These retail for $2.99 each.

_______

Kickin' It
&
Dance In The Dark

These 2 shades are from the new Julie G collection,
from Jessie's Girl Cosmetics.
If you are unfamiliar,
JulieG. 713 is a huge makeup/nail guru on YouTube,
last spring she worked with Jessie's Girl to formulate a collection,
and I guess it was such a success, they in turn gave her
own label.
I love seeing YouTube success like that!
And Julie is a real sweetheart, to way to go for her!!

Again, these aren't full size bottles,
these coming in at just .35 oz. per bottle.
Still, there is a very nice range of shades, none of them
particularly unique, but still quite pretty.

These both have a great finish,
and applied smoothly in 2 coats.

These retail for $3.99 each

Next I picked up 3 shades from Color Club's
Take Wing collection.

(from left to right)
Sky High
Wing Fling
Metamorphosis

I'm a big fan of Color Club, but these were a big miss for me.
They were extremely sheer, each needing 4 coats to get
a decent opacity.
and the gorgeous duo-chrome that you see in the bottle,
doesn't translate at all on the nail.
Bummer :(
Still, if you like bright metallic's, these can work,
I just recommend that they be layered to get some real punch.

Color Club retails for $3.99 each

______

I was fortunate enough to not only find the new
Wet n Wild Coloricon Be Jeweled collection,
but I also managed to grab ALL the shades,
oh happy day!

I won't go into too much detail,
since I plan on doing a separate post about them
and comparing them to
China Glaze Prismatic collection.

What I can tell you is that if you don't have easy access to
China Glaze, these are a great and cheaper alternative.

Speak When Spoken To
Jewels For Your Highness
Bow In My Presence
The Crown Is Mine
Born Into Privilege

These retails for $3.99 each

Weekend / Easter Mani

I'm currently working on

some new fun shades just in time for

 Spring & Summer.

Yummy pastels & vibrant brights!

This is one of my newest shades, the color is inspired by candy,

and the name inspired by one of the best 80's songs of all time!

"Sweet Dreams are made of...GLITTER!"

is a delicious pale mint green cream with just a hint of shimmer,

and is loaded with varying size & shape glitters in

lavender, pink, magenta, purple and turquoise.

This is 2 coats of

Sweet Dreams are made of...GLITTER!

over a single coat of CQ's Pistachio.

This shade, as well as a few others will be available when

Dollish Polish re-opens next week.

I hope everyone has a very happy and healthy holiday!

HAPPY EASTER!

Color Club Electro-Midnight

I don't really know why,
but when it comes to the latest trend,
Magnetic polishes, I was really slow to get on board.

But In a recent haul, on a whim,
I decided to throw in a
new magnetic polish from Color Club's Magnetic Force collection.
I'm so glad I did and I think is safe to say that I've  been converted!

Elector-Midnight is a metallic navy blue.

I do believe that all the magnet patterns that on the cap of each nail, are the same, which a wave pattern.
Though you won't get the full wave if you have small nails, but rather a simple arch.
Even with my larger nails that was the only pattern I got.
But still, I love it.

The application was an absolute dream.

A single coat was all that was needed and while the polish
is still wet, you simply place the magnet slightly above the nail
( there is a lip for you to rest it on the cuticle )
and watch the magic before your eyes!
I'd seen some magnetic polishes take a bit longer for the
pattern to develop, but this one was instant and I only
needed to leave the magnet hovering for about 5 seconds.

It looks like rippling water.
SO pretty!!

The only negative, as with most magnetic polishes,
is the shade range is limited.

Still, I have every intention of picking up more of these shades!!

I believe that these retail for  $6.99 each and there are a total of 6 shades.

A England - Saint George

I've been stalking Llarowe for what seems like ages
for this gem. Finally it was back in stock and I nabbed it
as quickly as possible!

This is not only my first Llawore purchase, but it is
also my first A-Engliand polish.
It was completely worth the wait.

Saint George is a intense Green Teal holo.
These are the shades I always tend to gravitate towards,
not only because the color is insanely gorgeous,
but also because it works great with my skin tone.

The formula, wow, absolute perfection,
and the saturation of color allowed this to go on
with a single coat.

I can't stop staring at my hands.

Saint George retails for $12 and is available on Llarowe
 or you can purchase
it directly from  A-England
