You guys kill me.
Ya really do.
I've been so good not buying any new polishes...because my cramped space just can't handle it....but you've weakened me!
Seeing all your fantastic hauls and your beautiful swatches of some really great colors, I went out and picked up a few. I just had to.
** Hangs head in shame **
Ok, enough of that....onto the polish!
Now, I know that I've seen at least 3, if not all 4 of these colors swatched on recent blogs.
IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!
LOL just kidding,
these colors that you picked I fell in love with and just had to pick them up.
Forgive me,
I read so many of your awesome blogs, that I do not remember which colors I was where....but you know who you are!
Thanks for these great colors.
So, starting from the left....
Sally Hansen's HD Nail Color in Spectrum
Petites Polish in - Black Diamond
Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in - Going Green
Sinful Colors in - Boogie Nights
Sally Hansen's Spectrum, while uber pretty, is very sheer and it needed 4 coats for me to get any sort of opaqueness to the color. But oh what a color it is.
Very shimmery and a cross between a royal blue and a turquoise. In the bottle it has reflects of purple, but I've yet to see it. Grant it, I haven't worn this polish out to capture it in natural light, so we'll see.
Black Diamond if my first black holo.
I know! pity the thought that I didn't have one in my collection. I've found in the past that the Petites formula isn't the greatest, but I was really impressed with this. I only needed 1 coat and it looked beautiful. This color is not your typical holo, it's on the sutble side...but I am loving it just the same.
Sally Hansen's Going Green
. Ugh...I've been searching for this one for a while. I was desperate for a really true vibrant kelly green and here it is. Of course no sooner do I find it, Essie comes out with "pretty Edgy"....and who knows, maybe I'll get that one too, but I am very pleased with this color. Again, very good formula and I could've gotten away with 1 coat, but I went for 2 just to give it that really solid, bold color. LOVE IT.
Sinful Colors in Boogie Nights. First off, let me just say that if you aren't familiar with the brand, then you are seriously overdue. Not only are they extremely reasonable at just $1.99 a bottle, but Sinful Colors has recently changed their formula and it is fabulous....and it wasn't bad before.
Nothing too special with this color, it's a very standard Coral creme.
But this color is a staple in my summer wardrobe and I wear it non-stop on my toes. I can't tell you how many variations of Coral polish I've gone through, but the number is ridiculous.
But for me, it just doesn't seem like summer without a great Coral on my feetsies!
