Small Haul

Though we are in the midst of 90+ degree weather, I find myself gravitating towards fall colors. Autumn will be here before you know it, and I cannot wait. Not only is it my favorite season of the year, but the colors...ohhh the gorgeous colors I am seeing for Fall are just amazing.

Here's a few polishes that I picked up over the last couple of weeks.

Prevail in "Week At The Waldorf"

OK, perhaps it's just me, but I've never heard of this brand before.
The color selection was very nice, so I decided to pick up a couple. A very muted Sage cream, the color really grabbed me and since this is probably the closest I'll ever get to staying at the Waldorf, I had to get it. I don't have anything like it in my collection, so Kudos for that.

Color Club in 'Age Of Aquarius"

Have I mentioned that I really love Color Club?
It is quickly becoming one of my top favorites brands. The formula is just simply fantastic. This is a beautiful Teal. It is a bit more green than the camera would capture. Do I need another Teal/Turquoise polish?
Nope.
But this color is beautiful , I've got it on my toes right now and it will carry straight into Fall.
Love.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro in "Violet Metal"

You know, Rimmel doesn't always have the best selection in colors, but this one is just....WOW. And I will also give them credit for improving their formula AND upgrading the brush.
Magenta base with a violet shimmer. I love polishes like this, a true dual-chrome feel. when the light hits it, it goes from Magenta to Blue, to Violet.
Oh yeahhh, I've got a funny feeling this is going to become my Fall favorite.

Prevail in "Midtown Mayhem"

Another Prevail polish, this one is a very true rich Royal Purple with the slightest shimmer of Magenta. Pretty unique, at least for my collection.
While the camera could capture the shimmer in the bottle a bit, the stubborn camera couldn't pick it up at all with the swatch, but I assure you, it's there.
Another Fall goodie.

Sinful Colors in "UFO"

There is one reason, and one reason only I bought this color...
Halloween. The mere mention of it makes me giddy.
I LOVE Halloween. And I wish it would get here already because I've got so many Halloween nail designs, my brain is bustin' at the seams!
I'm gonna put this lil' gem away for safe keeping till October.

Color Club in "Twiggie"

This a great Kiwi green. In fact, I wish I had it when I made my Kiwi design.
The color isn't very unique, and I've got 1,001 other Greens, but there is always room for more and it's great for summer.
And have I mentioned that I love Color Club?

Here's quick swatches of them

How did you get UFO to go on like that?
It's purely a layering polish for me. How many coats did you use?

You are right, Jaljen, it is definitely a layering polish. I'm pretty sure I did 4 coats.

OMG, that Rimmel is AMAZING!! I think I'm going to have to grab that, the next time I have an opportunity! And the UFO... *swoons* Honestly, I want a glitter polish in every shade of the rainbow, I won't lie. Think Ruby Pumps, only for every shade- red, magenta, orange, yellow, lime, emerald green, cyan, blue, purple, and blue-violet!

I can dream...
